It's already August 14, 2009, and its time to make preparations for the 119th Semi-Annual Meeting of the Southwest Electric Safety Exchange. The purpose of this meeting is to share safety information that will help each member company lower the accident rate and to help eliminate the serious injuries and fatalities within the industry.

Oncor Electric Delivery is excited to host the SWESE Fall 2009 Conference. The conference will be held October 14 -16, 2009, at the 4 diamond award winning Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco Hotel, Convention Center & Spa, 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive, Frisco, TX 75034. The room rate is $165 a night and includes cooked-to-order breakfasts and a nightly Manager's Reception. For those who want to stay over the weekend after the conference for the Texas-OU Football Game and The State Fair of Texas, Embassy Suites will extend the $165 a night rate through October 18, 2009. Rooms must be booked by September 23, 2009 to receive this rate for the conference and the extended rate for the weekend.

The Exchange membership registration fee is $200.00 per member registrant.

For the first time, SWESE member companies may invite up to three (3) of their contractor firms. Contractor firms will pay a non-membership rate of $250.00 for each employee attending the conference. Contractors need to register via the SWESE registration form that is submitted by the respective member company that is inviting their attendance for the conference.

With the conclusion of the General Session on Thursday, Oncor Electric Delivery will host a Banquet at the Embassy Suites. Note: Unregistered guests may attend the Awards Banquet for a $50 fee. The fee may be paid at registration or online.

We are accepting credit cards for conference registration fee prepayments or you can pay at the conference registration desk. Early registration at the hotel starts at noon on Tuesday, October 13, 2009.
